The car itself is not correct for DL&W; the model is a common 3-pocket hopper and the offsets on the DL&W were much less common with a more severe taper and overlapping side sheets. The lettering on the model is not the DL&W typeface but a more modern one.
Not sure we'll ever see a correct 3-pocket DL&W hopper short of a resin kit.? Sunshine Models came out with a two-pocket offset hopper for Illinois Central?that is very similar in construction to the DL&W 2- and 3-pocket hoppers. It might be a good starting point for patterns; I might order one to experiment.
