Referencing Paul Brezicki's earlier question about track reductions, Track 2 was removed during the track "realignment," leaving a large gap between the station and track 1, forcing the railroad to build a new platform further out (I have a photo in my collection at home that shows this well). Today, NJT has redone the platform here, removing that large gap. Track 3 was also shortened to be a stub that ended just before the Route 80 overpass.
