EL Listers, Just wanted to send out a reminder that ELDCPS is sponsoring excursions on the Delaware-Lackawanna, this upcoming weekend, Nov 10-11. We will be running a total of three trips, which will feature our NKP Pullman "City of Lima", as well as recently restored Erie E8 833. Coach seating is available in NY&GL Table Car 2995 and NY&GL Diner 950. First Class seating is available on NY&GL Lounge "Chestnut Hill". Seating on "City of Lima" is sold out. There are still tickets left for all three trips, and you can purchase them online from our online store at http://www.eldcps.org/store/home.php?cat=29 or by phone at (866) 261-6703. We accept checks, money orders, PayPal, ELDCPS Gift Certificates, Mastercard, Visa, and Discover. As the trips are this upcoming weekend, we will no longer be mailing tickets out to passengers. Tickets can be picked up while boarding the train. Remember, proceeds from all three trips goes towards the ongoing restoration of Erie Lackawanna Diner 741. As many of you have seen from photos released last week, the car is almost completely painted. Without the continued support of our members and friends, we will not be able to complete our project. Support of these trips, and sales from our merchandise catalog nicely compliment continued donations. We ask that if you are planning to "chase" these trips rather than ride them, please consider making a donation to ELDCPS to insure we can continue to run these trips in the future. Nov 11, 2007 Scranton to Analomink All-Day Roundtrip "Railfan" Excursion Departs Scranton at 8:15 a.m., returning approximately 3:00 p.m. This trip will feature several photo stops en route, but no Local Stops for boarding/disembarking Roundtrip Coach fare from Scranton : $49 ($44 for ELDCPS Members) Optional Box Lunch : $10 (Includes drink, chips, cookie, apple, and choice of Roast Beef, Tuna, Ham, or Turkey sandwich) Station & Parking Information : All trips will depart from behind the Radisson Lackawanna Station Hotel. Boarding will begin 30 minutes prior to departure time. There is a public parking garage located diagonally across Lackawanna Avenue on the corner of Adams Avenue.
