Rick, I recall the Olean, NY team coming to Warren via Train #7, The Pacific Express. There were about three coaches full of players, band members, and parents. The equipment was trucked to Mollenkopf Stadium from Olean and the Warren Transportation Company busses met the train at Warren to take the team to the stadium. I recall the half-dozen busses lined up along the south side of South Street along the gauntlet. The team returned home on Train 686 which was scheduled out of Warren about 1051 PM, but was held that evening for about 20 minutes for the returning team as far as Youngstown. A special train was operated with three coaches pulled by # 1140, the Baldwin Road-switcher to Olean. The coaches and the 1140 returned on #11 from Jamestown the following day. That is the only time I can recall Olean ever paying Warren.
