I just recently purchased on eBay two Proto 2000 E8 models. They were supposed to be undecorated (Stock # 8129) but turned out to be apparently two of Life-Like's early attempts at Erie colors. In a nutshell......really bad....bad colors on the paint, bad decals, just everything doesn't even begin to compare with their later superb Erie decorated units. I know this has been covered before but I would like to know what is the best technique to strip these shells without damage? Thanks in advance!
