Not to doubt Bob, he knows his stuff but I read here:

That the Drakesville train station was several hundred feet west of the
Howard Bvld crossing. I'm sure Bob is right though.

Speaking of that area, Does anyone have any pictures of the original
overpass for Howard Bvld they could post? My father tells me it was very old
and narrow. I believe it was replaced when I 80 was built.

Also, I asked this once before years ago, Did the DLnW serve a quarry or
open pit mine just east of the new station? There is a dark cinder path
leading off of into the woods between the main and Rt. 80 that goes into a
open pit. If this link works, the new station area should be in the left
lower center, The cinder path I'm talking about is near the upper right,
under the buttons that say "traffic", "map" and "satellite"
