There are a number of places to find reporting marks. Probably the best (as least for current reporting marks) is The Official Railway Equipment Register. The last issue I personally have is the April 2004 issue and it shows the address is: RER Publishing Corporation 400 Windsor Corporate Park 50 Millstone Rd -- Suite 200 East Windsor, NY 08520-1415 Do not know how much an issue will cost (I occasionally obtain a copy thru my employer). If memory serves me correctly, the Pocket List of Railroad Officials (of course I cannot find a copy now that I am looking for one) likewise has a list of reporting marks -- albeit WITHOUT the car-by-car listing of specs.
