Re: (erielack) Alco PA's and lapping brakes



Sounds like a self lapping brake valve.  the 26C brake valve is like that 
and so is the 26B1.  Not sure what valve is in the PA but it is most likely 
a variant of the 26C.  The self lapping feature removes the lap position on 
the brake valve so you simply move the brake handle as far as you need for 
the amount of brake you need.
