Todd and all, > That's an awesome sight! Thanks for sharing it Rich. Anyone > know the cabs lineage? Is it on old EL track in the photo? The car was repainted by CSX crews in time for the ELHS convention in Marion in 2001. Here's a shot from George Elwood's site when it was painted: http://www.rr-fallenflags.org/el/frt/el-c347agd.jpg Yes, the typeface is wrong and the color red is off, but it's the thought that counts! It ran around with its EL number for a few weeks before it reverted to its former ex-CR number with NYC reporting marks. It's still used on locals based out of Marion (where the photo was taken, so it still works on EL lines!) Looks like the paint is weathering up a bit in 6 years.... - Paul The Erie Lackawanna Mailing List Sponsored by the ELH&TS http://www.elhts.org To Unsubscribe: http://lists.elhts.org/erielackunsub.html ------------------------------
