In the  last six months or so most of the former DL&W (EL) "Water Spur" has 
been  permanently removed in Totowa NJ. This would be in the area of Route 46 
and  Lackawanna Avenue grade crossings. There is a major reconstruction project 
of  the roadways in the area that is fast removing any signs of the EL row!  
All evidence of the crossing flashers and the classic  wooden DL&W electrical 
cabinet (With Telephone box) is gone. There is  hardly any trace of the spur 
now. 
 

I know where the metal Lackawanna Stop Sign, that stood before the crossing  
is. :)
