removed in the past year or so, when Route 46 was redone in that area.
However, the ROW is still very evident (but often has construction

In the last six months or so most of the former DL&W (EL) "Water Spur" has been permanently removed in Totowa NJ. This would be in the area of Route 46 and Lackawanna Avenue grade crossings. There is a major reconstruction project of the roadways in the area that is fast removing any signs of the EL row!
All evidence of the crossing flashers and the classic wooden DL&W electrical cabinet (With Telephone box) is gone. There is hardly any trace of the spur now. The Totowa Industrial track itself now ends under Union Blvd. NS local HO-2 still creeps down this old secton of the Lackawanna's Boonton Line a couple times a week, I think two customers still exist where once upon a time EL's "Tototwa Roustabout" would work all day :(..
