There's also a photo on Page 38 of the recently released Lehigh Valley, Part IV, of LV RS-2# 213 prominently displaying this feature.As a result of this appurtenance, it seems that many photographers eschewed taking shots of the engineers side. As previously mentioned, the escaping air in the cabs of some earlier units, was an annoyance.
