From Railpace's "Hot News" column: NY&GL AND PORT JERVIS, N.Y. CONCLUDE AN AGREEMENT: The New York & Greenwood Lake Railway has reached an agreement with the City of Port Jervis, N.Y. to locate a passenger car restoration facility on the northside of the former Erie Railroad turntable. The New York & Greenwood Lake Railway will participate in Port Jervis's upcoming anniversary with a locomotive and passenger equipment display. The display will feature the railroad's Erie E8 833, in the original two-tone green paint scheme. This locomotive is currently being repainted by a private contractor at a New Jersey shortline. The display is expected to commence on, or about, July 26.
