TTX 250787 was an F89E built by P-S in 1966. It's similar to the Athearn model F85B (recently re-released) but 4' longer, and it lacks the tie-down chain brackets of the earlier F85B since by the mid-60's these were no longer in use. BTW, is it Z-channel or S-channel, I've always used the latter. Walthers probably chose the similar BSC F89F C-channel to model since they outnumbered the F89E almost 2 to 1. Paul B Great shot, Lou! This picture also shows the Z-channel 89' flatcar that was so common in the 70's... and yet no one makes a model of it in ANY scale! - - Paul > http://lists.elhts.org/listthumb.cgi?erielack-06-13-07 The Erie Lackawanna Mailing List Sponsored by the ELH&TS http://www.elhts.org To Unsubscribe: http://lists.elhts.org/erielackunsub.html ------------------------------
