The abandoned route was the original line, the line in use is the cutoff constructed in the early 20th century, the massive realignment from Hallstead to Clarks Summit which included the Tunkhannock and Kingsland viaducts. Portions of the original line were retained to serve local customers; I'm sure others know when the portion south of Hallstead was abandoned.
