Trailer fleets tend to change rapdly and this certainly was the case during the EL years. I'm ( very informaly) modeling the E-L branch of the former LW&V, 1955 to 1965. So I'm looking at 40, 50, & at the largest 75 ft flats. I've got all the flats: Ulrich (w/o the large trailer hitch), Penn Line, Tyco/Mantua, Walthers (75 ft) and I'll kitbash older Athearn 85ft flats to 75 ft. 75ft cars are really pushing it for the curves I have on the layout but I'll run them for a "modern" train. I'll use Walthers 35ft trailers, kit bashed (to about 35 ft) Tyco trailers, an assortment of 40 ft trailers and some kitbashed (to 35 ft) trailers from 40 footers. I've got most of the decals. Just need some from PMD for the DL&W pig flats. Ive also got most of the trailer decals......I'm going to give printing some on my inkjet printer a try 9 that is my winter model rr project.
