Yes, I've noticed that too. The Erie had several 04000-series MOW tenders
(they all appeared to be from Berks), and at least three made it to EL. Not
sure what they were used for - I always thought they might have held
supplies for steam cranes (coal/water), but I guess not?

Ron Dukarm, do you have a definitive answer?
