Time to turn that EL calendar! June's image is a pair of Erie E8s on the Erie Limited, hauling through Chester, NY on the "passenger main", May 21, 1959. A very "scuzzy" day for photography, with haze and cloud cover darkening the scene. The grass/weeds on the foreground sidings add "character" to the scene in my opinion, and the mix of head-end cars in this view is tremendous, including two baggage cars and two express cars (the latter in two different paint schemes).
