Re: (erielack) EL 741 Today

Randy,

That window was one of the ones that got replaced with a sliding box type
window during maintenance of way service.  These got put in because I assume
the air conditioning did not work and there was a need to let air circulate
through the car.  Midwest Locomotive pulled off all of these box windows and
just boarded them up with wood for the time being.  All of them will be
replaced as sealed windows again.
