Re: (erielack) ERIE 2996 [was ERIE 9998]



He obviously didn't try very hard to find anyone to take Erie 2999.  There
was a serious offer to save the car from someone when the news first came
out that the cars had to be moved off of Long Beach Island.  At a minimum
several museums could have used the trucks.

Very odd story and a sad end to the last of the Erie's unique
Parlor-Buffet-Diners.
