Would have been shown on DS train sheet and tower block sheets with the  
symbol and the lead locomotive number.  DS sheets would show all locomotive  
numbers.:
 
CB&Q 100  36xx,
 
 RI 100  RI 229, 
 
MILW 100, MILW 2049, etc.
