ROXBURY - Robert Lewis Henderson Sr. died Friday, April 20, 2007 at
home.  He was 79, and a lifelong resident of Port Morris.

He was employed as a conductor with D.L. and W. Railroad, Erie
Lackawanna Railroad, Conrail and NJ Transit for 47 years before
retiring in 1990.

Mr. Henderson was a veteran of the Korean War, serving with the Army.

He was a member of the Port Morris United Methodist Church, the
Roxbury Fire Company No. 2 of Port Morris, the Musconetcong F. and
A.M. No. 151, the Order of the Eastern Star Starlight Chapter No.
105, and St. Cecilia's Seniors of Rockaway.

He is predeceased by his sister, Kathleen Cole.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Mary (Nick); two sons, Robert
L. Jr. and Thomas J.; three daughters, Kathleen Prystash, Darlene
Thompson and Mary Ellen Milone; one sister, Florence Benson; 12
grandchildren and six-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 23 at 1 p.m. at the
Port Morris United Methodist Church.  Visiting hours are Sunday from
2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Home, 31-33 Main St. Netcong.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Port Morris United
Methodist Church, 296 Center St., Landing, N.J. 07850
