Re: (erielack) Freight Loading Platform

OK, just wondering if I have this right
left to right, I see:
dark dashed line -fence line/property line
two light lines that intersect - unknown
medium line- track paralleling siding (wouldn't that be another siding?)
platform
medium line - siding
two dark lines - double track main?
dark dashed line - fence line/property line
No. 8, No. 7, etc. - are those telegraph poles?

Is it possible the platform simply served as a bridge between two sets
of boxcars for transferring LCL?
At first I thought maybe unloading farm machinery from flat cars, but 5'
is much too narrow for that.

That's all gone by now, but if you look there is a track running off of and paralleling the WB siding. And between that track and the siding, there is a "freight loading platform".
