Has anyone asked an SPF how the PRR pronounced it? After all they are/were the Standard. ;)

No problems here, that's how I heard it, but then my Uncle could speak three
languages fluently, not including English. (And most of the Polish I learned
from him I needed to keep away from Mom or risk getting swatted with "who
taught you that..."--and of course he thought it was funny).
So, we have the Erie way, box- pock, and then the rest of the world for
box-spoke.
What else could be clearer?
