I agree with your words and I am from Scranton, now living in Manhattan. I  
have one question. What do you mean that you are an Erie brat? That's pretty  
cool but want to know more.

I think that the archives should be in Scranton at Steamtown.   Such a move
would not only strengten the appeal of Steamtown helping to  insure in
continuing existence but also would help preserve the archive of  the EL RR
even if the society were to be disolved.  It could also  attract archives
from other RR's.  Scranton is dthe home of the  DL&W.
