The first photo shows the installation of the simulated rivets on the newly installed steel. The second photo shows that the vestibule cut into the lounge end of the car during the MOW years has been completely sealed up. You can also see the completely new roof that 741 now has, perfectly replicating the original turtle hump roof. Right now the inital work is being doe to prep the car for painting. It is a critical time for the Erie Lackawanna Dining Car Preservation Society as we need to raise $30,000+ to finish prepping and to put the paint on the car.
