I just want to acknowledge Jon Liles for scanning and making available to all of us that mountain of material on his website. Just looking at the timetables is a wealth of information. I never realized that the Lake Cities started out as a New York-Buffalo and New York-Cleveland train (not going to Chicago); hence the plural name. (I know Chicago is a lake city too.) Thank you Jon!
