(erielack) Erie Controlled NYS&W



On page 112 of Ed Crist's Erie Memories, there is a picture of an Erie 
freight on the Piermont Branch. Of note is a hopper car with NYS&W reporting 
marks AND what appears to be an Erie diamond on the opposite end. I know the 
Erie owned a good part of the Susie-Q at one point but did not know of this 
kind of labeling. Anyone know as to what extent this combination was used 
and on what type of rolling stock?
