One of Jerry's excellent photos shows former EL S12 #621 in Auto-Train

Note the cab numbers were done using EL number stencils!

Does anyone know who "Gene" is? (name on the cab)  And does anyone know
when this unit was transferred to the other end (or maybe FROM the other
end?) of A-T operations in Sanford, FL? (Walt Smith once posted a shot
of this unit down there)
