The pictures seem to indicate that EL was the last operator of the ALCO RS2's and 3's and that they were put on the deadline almost immediately after CR took over. It appears that CR was taking the GE U-25B's or all previous carriers out of service as well. What was going on in Columbus at this time? Did CR have shops there? Where the RS's scrapped there?
