Continuing to do research on Courtland NY, I found the following photograph at the Library of Congress, American Memories website: http://memory.loc.gov/cgi-bin/displayPhoto.pl?path=/pnp/habshaer/ny/ny0100/ny0131/photos&topImages=115617pr.jpg&topLinks=115617pv.jpg,115617pu.tif&title=3.%20%20NORTH%20ELEVATION%20%20%20%20%20%20%3cbr%3eHABS%20NY,12-CORT,7A-3&displayProfile=0 I know the location (it is by the DL&W/EL Passenger Station), but my question is about the engine. I am still a novice at this, but I think it is a GP7. But I am unable to identify the engine number. It was my guess as being 1213, but I would like to know if anyone is familiar with the engines running through Cortland at that time and might have a more definite idea. According to the data sheet, it was taken by Jack E Boucher in 1965.
