If you're wondering what TYPE of signals were used, on the west end of the Erie just about everything was used. I've seen pictures of semaphores used in the EL era, searchlights, three lamp signals (seem to be most prevalent?), and on a video I saw a B&O position light, and it wasn't at an interlocking with the B&O. What type was used where and for what, I don't know.
