RE: (erielack) High points and runaways...



  They sure had a big one in Syracuse when a boxcar got away form near 
Jamesville and made it all the way to Syracuse passenger station, knocking 
the station job (an Alco HH660) down into the street below. When I worked 
the Jamesville turn & ran the engine, the oldhead engineers would carefully 
instruct me in keeping the Solvay stone cars under control down the hill.
