Al Reibel's request earlier today made me realize that even with the simplicity of scanning thumbnails of electronic images, it sure helps if you have a consistent method of labeling them. What I could have figured out in probably ten seconds took me probably five minutes. Now, I realize, Al (H, not R) that five minutes is nothing compared to the hours and days it can take if you're not organized. I didn't even begin to search through the prints I have, because of two things: One is that the image he was looking for is very hard to find, and I probably don't have it, and second, when I start doing that, I keep getting distracted by lots of other "Interesting Stuff." An hour later, I probably won't even recall what I was looking for to begin with.
