I am trying to track down a location along the Erie, approximately three miles east of Corning. The name may be something like Magus, Magee or similar. Does anyone know of this location and the correct name? It was the site of an accident (7-11-29) where the Cleveland-New York Express (eastbound) hit a derailed gasoline tank car in a westbound freight. There were several fatalities.
