That 1800's era photo of DL&W "Ten Wheeler "Camelback" 697 is from the Sam Sloan era of the Lackawanna. After 1900 it became "Class 15" and retained it's locomotive number, even as newer power arrived. Utilizing stephenson valve gear and 62 3/8 drivers, I am sure it could move that four car train over the Morris & Essex with ease.
