The National Docks crossed underneath the two Pennsy lines near Waldo tower, so the connection took the form of a bridge, curving about ninety degrees, droping from the P&H to the National Docks. Our PC B&B department put it in, which surprised me. I didn't think they could erect anything that big. I don't know if it is used now, since the connection at Marion has been changed to accomodate trains coming off the Meadows. The traffic goes that way instead of the National Docks. Our trolley cars use the National Docks now. Previously I said that Waldo tower controlled the P&H, which isn't quite right. The P&H went by behind Waldo; all we ever did was hang orders on the trains; but we had no signals or switches on that line. Waldo controlled the approach to and east end of Journal Square station; and the PATH's WR tower controlled the west end of it.
