I rode the M&E to New york on Tuesday and I thought of some questions on the triple track from Newark to Milburn. 1. Without locating a copy of Taber, when was the triple track installed. 2. Was there any recent thought of extending the triple track to Summit, especially when the electrification was redone? 3. Could not the line run almost as efficiently with 2 tracks?
