Thank you for the three tribute to Marc Balkin. Together, they provide an insight into a brilliant but complex person. I visited Marc several times in his New Milford home. One entered through the kitchen and went downstairs to . . . the bridge of the Starship Enterprise! Monitors glowed; lights flashed; tapes whirred; sounds came forth, blended and went back, either to be included in the work in progress or filed for future use. It was marvelous!
