(erielack) Prattsburg Railway

just bought a lot of old Erie tickets and in the lot is a ticket for the
Prattsburgh Railway from Wheeler to Dineharts. From a quick scan on the
internet I found out that this line interchanged with the Erie at Kanona,
NY. Was it owned or leased by the Erie like the early B&H or Warwick
Valley? Are there any pictures of it out there?
Thanks,
Tim

The Prattsburgh Railway was always independent of the Erie. It was organized by a group of local business men. Originally named the Kanona & Prattsburgh (the Kick & Push to locals) it was reorganized under the Prattsburgh Railway name. The best coverage & photos can be found in William Reed Gordon's book Keuka Lake Memories which is long out of print but can be found in libraries in western NY.
