Re: (erielack) West End (2)



Mike,
I'm not aware of any tunnels being daylighted on the Pan Handle in OH, as 
Gould Tunnel in eastern OH still survives, and is seen as an impediment in 
not being able to handle double-stack traffic.

The PanHandle was torn out in WV and PA, as well as west of Columbus, but as 
you say, is still in service under Ohio Central from Mingo Jct. westward 
into Columbus - also occassionally handles some occasional NS 
run-through/detour traffic...
