(erielack) EL And Chessie System

List,

Speaking of a merger with the Santa Fe, wasn't there also talk of  Chessie 
System taking over the eastern portion of the EL? Was this supposed to be from 
Marion - east? OR Youngstown - east? 

With what we've seen with the Conrail break - up, and CSX getting the old NYC 
portion of CR, wouldn't the EL be in about the same shape it's in now? I'm 
speaking of east of Youngstown.
