Punning aside, I didn't think milk traffic lasted into the EL years. I 've
never seen a photo of milk containers behind EL power; can anybody post one?
I presume the Steamburg containers were trucked to Salamanca. Around 1966, a
convenience store chain opened in S Ontario; it was called "Beckers", but
IIRC the formal name was "The Becker Milk Co.", and I think they still
exist. Same company, I gather?

I believe the Becker milk service ended in 1964. It was always interesting
to see the first commuter train come into Mountain View in those final
years. It ran to Netcong and then waited for the arrival of "The Lakeland"
before running up the Sussex Branch carrying passengers to Newton. This
train usually had two milk cars usually tagged on the rear of three Boonton
coaches.

And did not Beckers use the E-L until just about the end of the Branchville
train?
