Anyone know if the first use of Concrete by the Lackawanna was the Bridge over the L&HR? I've only seen photos of it, but as I recall that is a substantial bridge. Norfolk Southern still uses the 100+ year old bridge a few times a week delivering cars from Allentown into the former DL&W territory..

is where both the DL&W's Old Road and Lehigh & Hudson River RR came within
a stone's throw of each other. That was the station at Bridgeville is just
off Rt. 519 at that point. Bridgeville is, I'm guessing, 3-4 miles east of
the Manunka Chunk Tunnel.
