Well...yeah, the Erie mainline. Once again Tonello plays the fool and he might as well speak to a brick wall as ask Randy Kuhl for "help". To paraphrase Senator Lloyd Bentsen; "...Mr. Kuhl, you're no Amo Houghton". The tracks are grade separated all the way from Big Flats to Southport. The grade crossings are pretty much clear in both directions and have gates. As the previous discussion on track speed aptly pointed out, the track is approved by a federal agency. The city really doesn't have a whole lot to say about the matter. If NS acquiesces it will be for PR purposes. Gary R.
