(erielack) Erie Low Grade and Graham Line



That's interesting, since most of that route is low-grade, considering the Graham Line plus the fact that the Lackawaxen-P Jervis portion follows the Delaware R. They may have contemplated a straighter route, but the existing alignment was about as low-grade as you could achieve.

I recall seeing a good article on the Erie's plans for a low grade line from 
Lackawaxen to New Jersey -- not just the Graham Line (that was built) but 
some detail on the rest of it as well.

Anyone recall this or can point me in the right direction?
