Rich and List, Thanks for clearing that up. Evidently the yard job fetched the loads for Second 100 which then picked them up in the yard. I went back and reviewed my trainsheets and I now see the reason for the 40 min stop: it was a time cushion. Actual elapsed time was often 15-35 min, so this train frequently picked up 5-25 min at Marion.
