NS has apparently put a switch in between the Old Third track and what is
left of the NY&GL line at the east end (before the grade to what was once
the connection to West End). They are storing long cuts of container flats
and, sometimes locomotives, on both tracks as far west as DB interlocking.
The Interlocking is not longer in service so they can shove the cars past
the westbound interlocking signal under Amtrak's High Line.

There was some rumor back in March that NS was going to completly rebuild or
rehab DB draw, but I guess that was all heresay and nonsense.
