A head's up regarding the USRA Heavy 2-10-2s. In the upcoming issue of the Diamond the article on the Cleveland "branch" includes two pictures, one of each side of this engine. The details that the Erie added are probably minimal compared to changes on many of the other classes of engines. One thing that most seemed to get, including the Santa Fes, is a raised coal bunker. - -------------- Original message -------------- From: "Schuyler Larrabee" <schuyler.larrabee_@_verizon.net> > > > > > >Bill Botkin notes: > > > > I just received a 2006/07 Walthers/Life Like catalog and they > > show the following items that may of interest: > > > > USRA Heavy 2-10-2 lettered for Erie, Nos.4212, 4217 (DCC & > > Sound) and 4214, 4224 (DC).
