I had a surprisingly easy time removing the shell. Remove the two coupler screws, then remove the couplers. Then, there is a screw on either end of the fuel tank, accessible between the rear wheels of each truck and the curved bracket at the end of the sideframes. Remove these two screws and the shell can be pulled off. I was able to programmatically lower the volume via DCC. Wasn't aware that there was an adjustment inside. While we're on the subject, does anybody know which of the 14 different horn sounds is most accurate for these engines?
